From table cloths, chair covers, red carpet arrangements to photowall placement, stage and dance floor setting... after finalizing that and a whole bunch of other stuff, the big night finally arrived - SMK BUD(4)'s Senior Prom 2011. Though not a senior myself (yet), couple of us form fours were part of the Prom Committee, lending a helping hand and earning some experience when it comes to event planning.

But my hat's off to Sue Ann and Justin the head of the committee for making it all happen. Gotta admit planning an event like this with absolutely no money is tough, but for the sake of putting a memorable touch to the end of their high school years, they did it. Though there were couple of obstacles along the way that's undeniable, but nevertheless everything manage to fall right into place. The committee is super duper thankful for having such awesome photographers, bands, dancers, that evening, couldn't be thankful enough! :')

Congrats to all the winners that night. I had a pleasant time working with Sue Ann and the others in helping organize this event. I guess everyone knew the hard work and effort she put up for this event, and returned the favor by crowning her Prom Queen of Prom 2011. Well deserved ;) The night ended with everyone dancing their worries away on the dance floor to the thumping beats by the DJ. Well, I hope everyone enjoyed the night in memories of their high school journey. Hopefully, when my time comes our prom too would be as successful as this. Till the next post, xo.

Tanjung Sepat Food Trip

Hello everyone.

Please forgive me for my sudden absence in the blogosphere, life has been really hectic this year. Also proven by the drastic downhill in the number of posts this year compared to past year's. I have to admit I kind of lost my blogging mojo, I've tried opening Blogger several times before this, but all that came out was 'hello guys' and .... that's it. Oh well, but this time Imma sit my ass down on this not-so-comfortable chair and start typing out some crap that hopefully people will read.

Tanjung Sepat, known for it's great seafood and nevertheless the Mui Choi Pau (veggie pau). The family wanted to head down there for a food trip weeks ago, but no action was taken until today. Hmm, must be a 20112011-thing I guess? I would do anything for good food, so food trip it was! Plus, it was a perfect opportunity for a semi-vacation though I wouldn't call it a vacation but, with packed schedules like mine and the rents' where in the world can we find time for a week long vacay. It was my second time heading down to Tanjung Sepat, the last time I've been there was during my Port Dickson trip, we stopped by Tanjung Sepat for lunch and to purchase some of their well known paus, but sadly they were out of stock then. No fret, no fret this time, we've got plenty, and I mean really. 50 veggie stuffed paus, U MAD? :P Well, obviously they aren't all for us but for ze lovely relatives and neighbours :)

The SEAFOOD, yes according to my mom if you Google "Tanjung Sepat Seafood", the first place that pops up would be Ocen Restaurant, and yeap that was where we stopped for lunch. The restaurant was situated by the sea thus the breeeezzeee, i laike. As we waited for the food to come, rents' and I decided to take a stroll down the near by jetty. The sun was scorching hot, hallelujah for shades, my eyes would've been fried without them. Great time to even out my two toned skin too ^_^ But seriously, after volley practice that day the two tone got even more obvious, gah someone invite me swimming or to a beach please, I'm desperate to even out my skin tone! Enough of my rants, moving on. Food was pretty good, the clams and crabs were really fresh!, the only downside was the portion of the crabs, it was really small :( Not long after that, we got back on the road and made our journey back to KL, made a few stops on the way such as the Dragon Fruit Farm, even had a dragon fruit popsicle, hehehe ^_^v and also some kajang satay at the Dengkil rest stop. I'm more than satisfied with this trip though only 7 hours but, heh. Like I said I would do anything to get my hands on some good food ;) Till the next post, take care!

These are our excited asses just before leaving for Cheer Clinic 2011. I love my girls, BLϟTZERZ. Look at our shirts, YES it's finally here! MY DESIGNS, COME TO LIFE! Though I'm a tad bit disappointed with the back and I think we could have gotten a less see through material but other than that it's how I pictured it, clean and fresh, simplicity at it's best ;) That totally rhymed! Can't wait for the black one.

Of all fine days to twist my ankle, it happened during Cheer Clinic, while we were performing our routine to the judges -_- GREAT. You would probably die of laughter if I told you how I twisted it. Should save myself the humiliation and get back to icing my swollen ankle :(

I'm so hating myself for this. Please god, help me recover in time for competition.

Which, is good new for my ankle but bad news for the competitors since it's only a one day competition! D: There's no room for mistakes, we only got 1 chance to perform, better not blow it.

Liese Bubble Hair Dye in Chestnut Brown

Hello! Hope everyone's enjoying their school holidays!

Well I sure am, after having to finally dye my hair for the first time. HEEE. I thought of coloring my hair a couple of months ago, that's when I decided to buy the Leise Bubble Hair Dye. I asked Melissa's opinion on it since she has tried Liese's Bubble Hair Dye before and coincidentally she was using the same color that I had bought! I wanted something subtle and natural looking so I went for Liese's second darkest color -- Chestnut Brown.

I got my hair dye from Sasa. They were having their weekly sale, so it was discounted to RM34 if I'm not mistaken. They even gave me a free mask and a tiny butterfly keychain :)

Hmm, I would say this hair dye is rather fun to do on a little DIY weekend. But I would recommend getting someone to help you on your first try. Like my mom, she helped me out with this one, and since my hair is kind of short I had left overs so she joined the fun x)

MUST DO's:

>> Be in a well ventilated area/ with mini fan or opened windows. This is cause the dye gives out a really really strong ammonia smell, it has already been more than 24hours and yet the smell is still in my hair!
>> Apply oil base product eg.Petroleum Jelly on forehead, ears and neck to avoid staining.
>> Wear some raggy-ol' t-shirt or just cut a plastic bag a tie it around your neck, like what I did.
>> Wear gloves, duh.
& have fun :D

It's only noticeable when the light hits, but indoors hardly anyone notices it. Unless you actually knew how black my hair was previously, it would be really obvious. Well maybe I'm speaking too soon, cause Melissa says it'll get lighter and lighter after more washes. So we'll see... Overall I guess I'm pretty satisfied with this product. Go give it a try since it's the holidays!

Great start to my first stress free day after the exams. The torturous 3 week long examination was hell. Had to have the help of caffeine to keep myself awake for some of the long nights up studying. To name a few, moral and add-math.

Didn't attend school today, nor will I attend tomorrow, instead I stayed home indulging in my veggie delights while watching Scotty McCreery get crowned American Idol. I was rooting for Haley since the Top 13 but she got knocked off and placed 3rd, bummer. But out of the 2 finalist I thought Lauren would win it, but it seems America's really unpredictable this year :\ I really enjoyed watching this year's finale episode, the performances were spectacular. Loved Beyonce's performance with the girls, and Lauren's performance with Carrie Underwood. Haley's performance with Tony Bennett was really cool too.

After the long wait, my orders from Agape Boutique are finally here! Since I shared postage with Angeline, it came in this huge mineral water box, and to find 5 pairs of shoes and idk number of clothing in it. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes this time round, and the rest was Angeline's (do watch out for her blogpost on it, soon i hope) But sad to say luck wasn't on my side this time round as they were a bit tight, got blisters from wearing one of them out today. It's so sad cause their both such pretty shoes. I would so totally buy the same pair again in a bigger size if I manage to resell them away.

Anyways, I'm just gonna show you what I got this time round. First, these babes. Their brown, T-bared, wedged, and peep toed. I chose brown because it has this vintage look to it, that I love in almost everything. This pair isn't as tight, but I'm afraid if I get a size up it wouldn't fit. It's okay, let's all just admire its beauty first before we think of getting rid of it :)

It'll look great with so many things! From, knee length skirts, lace shorts, floral dresses and tapered pants, to even being paired with some socks! Can't wait to style this babes up.

Second pair that I got is this Chanel inspired jelly flats. When I first tried it on I thought it fitted perfectly. But once I wore it out, and had to walk a couple of blocks to tuition, it started to give my blisters already. Now, I'm officially terrified to wear this pair out. Maybe I'll do something about it, somehow :S The only down side is that it's too small, other than that I think it's really pretty cute, don't you think so too? :)

GOSH, the tan lines on my legs and arms too are getting more and more obvious by the day. Weather these days are such a bitch. It' could be scorching hot at first but downpour the next second. Got caught in the rain 2 times in the past week already, le sigh.

Perfection Celebrative Hi-Tea & The Week

I'm so sorry for my somewhat prolonged blogging absence. However, this week has been particularly busy. From Inter-house Basketball competition held on Monday and Tuesday, to hopping from cheer practices to basketball practices each other day. Inter-house was great, yellow house did an amazing job winning all 3 matches and snagging first place for all categories in basketball. I'm so happy :')

Next, MSSD basketball next Tuesday! Scraped my left knee in finals of inter-house and got a nasty wound, [insert some graphic disturbing photo] let's hope it doesn't affect my performance. "Let's hope for the best, we can do this." i know i say line too much in a basketball match. HAHA

Besides that, I also attended Perfection's annual Celebrative Hi-Tea last Saturday with a couple of my tuition buddies. It was a dress to impress event so, everyone dolled up and got their best outfit on that afternoon. Brian looked rather dashing that evening, with his new haircut and formal attire, not to mention Mr. Loke too, who doesn't seem to admit that it was him, when we questioned him in tuition last night. He claims the guy we saw that day was his "twin bother". HA-HA!

Hitched a ride with Amelia to Perfection's HQ located in Kepong. Food there was good, but the only down side to it was it was very hard to eat as there were no tables. They were performances by both students and teachers that evening. It was like watching my school's very own Malam Bakat, which was held a night before the Hi-tea. (didn't attend malam bakat cause I had Physics &Add Math tuition, sue me :P ) Crashed at Regine's that night and it was straight to basketball training the next morning.

CIMB KL Open Squash Championship 2011

Well as you can see in this photo right here, Blitzerz was at the semi finals and finals of the CIMB KL Open Squash Championship held in Berjaya Times Square last weekend, where our very own Nicol David emerged triumphant for the 7th time! She was up against Word No. 6 Madeline Perry of Ireland in the finals. Nicol took just 34 minutes to win the match 11-6, 11-6, 11-2. However, in the men's finals, both from Egypt, world No.3 Karim Darwish beat Mohamed El Shorbagy 11-9, 11-9, 11-3 in a game of 53 minutes. That match in particular was really exiting to watch as the 2 men's scores were really close!

As cheerleaders, we were invited to perform for them in between matches. Got there early on Day 1 for makeup. Vinyi and Amanda were just darls to volunteer themselves to help with the makeup. After getting our makeup done, we then head in the court for some warm up. After that we went to grab a bite, practically raided the whole Cold Storage.

Soon after lunch we were told to be seated down as the game was about to start. Us cheerleaders were given seats directly behind the players, so it was really a fan girl moment for all of us. Funniest part is when the guy players take their shirts off in between matches to change to another one, and of course the camera would be facing the players, you couldn't imagine how much Ashley and I were trying not to laugh.

We were told to only perform three routines a day, but we ended up doing five on Day 1. I was so eager for it to make it on live TV, that I'd already set it for recording at home. Came home and watch through it, to find only a glimpse of our routine for Day 1. However on Day 2, careless me forgot to set recording and BAM, NOTHING! :( Mom said they aired it on TV, so hating myself for this.

Performance wise I think we did great! All stunts went up for all 7 routines, succeeded the 21 front walks I did in total for 2 days, Mel's side aerial is getting better by the try, not to forget Yuzana's front walk, and everyone else's. Great job!

Three Cheers For Five Years

Nothing exiting happening so far now in my life. But....

Did I mention I finally got to try the 'most sought after' macarons? Yeah I did, like finally. They were made by one of Pn.Chan's ex-student. A couple of my classmates were ordering them so I said why not? They were really, i mean really pricey so I only ordered 2, heh. I can't lie, but they were really yummy. Can't wait to try some more macarons, as promised by Nick korkor, that is if we visit him in Sydney (hopefully).

Day 2. Greys have faded. Redish is a good sign. :)

Cheer practices are going on as usual during the holidays. Sprained my pinky finger at yesterday's gym session. Got it while I was catching puanpuan from her kick double, which she manage to ace effortlessly. It's starting to swell and bruise now, but not to worry it ain't broken. Just some resting, ointment rubs & tape will do the trick ;)

The rest of the month were just filled with school, cheer practices, basketball practices and pop quizzes. Still getting the hang of the new subjects like Add Math, Physics and Chemistry. Like they say, form3 doesn't prepare you at all to face form4. All I can do now for myself is to work hard and try not to get carried away by the playfulness of my class. Nick korkor came back to Malaysia last November and he just flew back last Wednesday. Hope his doing well there. Cheer practices have been doing okay lately, no longer a flier as some of you may have already known. I'm a backspot now, ~~soon be getting those bruises~~ GOT them already sista! Haha, which I might have brought it up in my English ULBS last Friday that I did on Cheerleading. HEE ^_^v

Speaking about basketball I joined back the team! So stupid for me to have left in the first place. Don't like talking about why I left, it was really a tough time for me. Got our jerseys this morning at training, I'm really happy with the design and colors this time. But if only it had our names on it like the picture above, I would be even happier. (I edited my name onto it, just so you know.)

Happy Valentine's Day All! Hooray for MSSD to be on Valentine's Day, so I won't have to spend it in school! Instead I went for an inter-school(MSSD) cross country run this morning (will get in detailed in the next post), then cheer practice, super exhausted now. But I must finish this post by tonight, cause I have been delaying this post for far too long now. And you guys deserve to know that I got....

Yes, It's the Fujifilm Instax Mini 25 Hello Kitty Version! It's finally in my hands! I've been saving up for this baby since god knows how long ago. I initially wanted to get the full white version, but it was really hard to get stock said the shop owner, so I opt for the Hello Kitty version instead. Although its a lil bit more expensive compared to the full white version. I really really wanted it so, i got it. Plus IT'S FREAKING HELLO KITTY!

The Instax Mini 25 Hello Kitty Set I ordered comes with an instant camera and 2 packs of 10 Hello Kitty film. I'm not really a fan of decorated films, that is why i got myself a box of plain film. I ordered only a box first just to try it out. I'm gonna need more of this man, seriously. ;)

China Glaze Anchors Away Spring 2011 Collection - Pelican Gray

China Glaze Anchors Away Collection

Pelican Gray is one of the 12 colors in China Glaze's Anchors Away Spring 2011 Collection. Fell in love with this lovely shade of gray once I laid eyes on it. Have been looking for the perfect gray polish since the new year, and I think I might have just found it :)

Formula for this polish was fantastic, this applied like butter! Required only 2 coats to achieve an even coverage. Have to admit that this is probably the prettiest gray I've seen. Loving the shimmer!

The bumps aren't caused by the nail polish, it was because my nail were uneven.

Cause I had just removed my Lace Manicures, badly. My bad :P

It isn't just the cool toned grey crème that I love, it's also because of that teeny bit of pearly shimmer that can be seen when the light hits. So so pretty! :)

Chinese New Year Day 1

This is basically what I wore for Day 1. Didn't buy it specifically for Chinese New Year, but the beige top manage to arrive a few days before Chinese New Year, since it was new I decided to go with it then. Although Mom gave me RM100 (she was rather generous that morning) for me to find a decent top, having to raid a total of 3 shopping malls but to find nothing, I count that as failing miserably. Plus, I had Angie by my side most of the time, double fail :(

The morning of Day 1 was started of by the usual tea ceremony. It's a Cheong tradition to have the tea ceremony every Chinese New Year. Basically, it's where the young ones serve the elderly tea while saying a couple of auspicious phrases to bless them, and only after that we'll receive what every kid's longing for every Chinese New Year - Red Packets, also known as the 'Ang Pao'. We usually have our family tea ceremony at home first before leaving for my Aunt's place to have another tea ceremony there. But this time, for my grandmother.

Dinner at Super Tanker with the relatives on mom's side. Cousins who just came down from Kluang were there too, had a great time hearing about what they have been up to lately. Most of them are furthering their studies out station, man makes me wonder where am I gonna be no wait, what am I gonna do in the next 3 years time. Lace Detailed French Manicure

YES! I repainted them from the Red Ah Poh Nails to this sheer pink beauty. Added the peal bracelets into this picture cause I thought it suited the whole pretty princessy feel. I got many questions regarding this Lace Detailed Mani when I did them last year. So, I thought I'd do a tutorial on Lace Detailed Manicures.

To accomplish this lace detailed French manicure. You'll need ...

1. Base Colour. (Estee Lauder Ballerina Pink)

2. Top Coat. (Ianti Top Coat with Pink Tint)

3. Tip Colour. (Konad Black Special Polish)

4. Paper Towel.

5. Stamper.

6. Q Tips.

7. Scrapper.

8. Konad Plates (I'm using M19 & M57)

When it comes to Konad, a paper towel is a must! Things will get messy so, the paper towel helps.

Plus, you can reuse for the next time you use Konads ;)

Alright, Lace Detailed French Mani.

First: Paint your base colour.

I'm using Estee Lauder's Ballerina Pink. It's a very sheer pink, so this required 3 coats to achieve full coverage.

Second: Using Konad M19, stamp the French Tips in Black over your fully dried nails.

*It's really important that your nails are completely dry before you start stamping on different konads.*

Third: Using Konad M57, stamp the lace details slightly below the dried French Tips.

Forth: Use your Top Coat to seal everything down. I used one with a slight pink tint to is cause I found the Base Color a little bit too sheer. It needed a bit more pink to it ;)

After that, you're pretty much done ;)

So, my Uncle just came back from the UK yesterday. He was talking about how his grueling 14hour flight went. But on the brighter side, he said he managed to catch some great movies. 14 hours on a plane, it's suffering, been there! And one of them which caught my attention was '127 Hours'.

*Spoiler Alert.

Once he told me about it, I went home and got straight onto the computer and started streaming the movie. Sadly, it couldn't stream in time for bed (1.30am already) so I was only 30minutes into the show. Plus, I couldn't bare the thought of watching him amputate his bare hand at 2 in the morning! Even through the first 30minutes, every sudden move of his left me jumping of my seat.

127 Hours is a true story of mountain climber Aaron Ralston played by hunky James Franco's remarkable adventure to save himself after a fallen boulder crushes his right arm and left him trapped in an isolated canyon in Canyonlands National Park of Utah, back in year 2003. He resorts to desperate measures in order to survive the grueling days to come.

Over the next five days, Aaron examines his life and survives the elements to finally discover he has the courage to extricate himself by any means necessary, which was to amputate his lower right arm with a dull knife in order to free himself. The scene of him amputating his arm in the movie might be a little disturbing for some, I had to peek from in between my fingers while he was in the process of it, cause that was how gross it was. Wiki says that a couple of viewers required medical attention while one other suffered from a panic attack while at the screening of 127 Hours, wow.

I thought it was a pretty great movie, director Danny Boyle brings a creative approach to telling this epic story. His use of interesting sound designs and creative camera angles helps keep the audience engage in what in many ways is a fairly simple yet, incredible story. James Franco did a great job as well portraying the fun-loving, intelligent, but somewhat reckless Aaron.

Well, if you love shows like 'I Shouldn't Be Alive' on The Discovery Channel like me, I guess this show is for you then ;)

Did my CNY themed nails about an hour ago. I can officially say I hate working with the nail color Red, maybe that's the reason why I gave mine to Angie. Used my mom's Red here, come to think of it even the Bronze is hers. Anyways, going back to the color Red. I dislike it cause it stains the nail and even around it so much that even a basecoat wouldn't help. I screwed up on a few of the nails and redoing them were such a pain in the ass. :\

Hello readers! Wow, we're already in the forth week of the new year and this would only be my first post of the new year. Well, I apologize for my sudden MIA. Days have been really packed so far, with form4, tuition classes and cheer. Thus, there'll be a slight decrease in the amount of posts this year. But I'll try my best to keep you readers entertained.

Wokay, Imma talk about school now. Besides the fact of being all alone & some teachers left hatin' us & underestimating us. 4 Anggerik is a good start. I'm really satisfied of the amount of good teachers my class manage to get this year, knowing that we're "The Last Science Stream Class" -.-, but who am I to say I'm not.

School was doing fine for the couple of weeks, but my health says otherwise. Meal skipping NO GOOD. I didn't skip my meals intentionally please, it's caused by insufficient time. Outcome could've been avoided if we HAD time to eat. _|_ It has only been like the third week of school and I'm found absent once already. And no, it's not cause I prefer studying at home, (not so soon :P) but because I was ill, with I have absolutely no idea what. Parents somehow think it wasn't serious enough to bring me to the doctors, wokay! I was fine during the day I was absent, but the day before that I was seriously puking my guts out right after I got home from school. I personally think it's caused by being over-hungry, but that doesn't explain the excessive vomiting. Or it could be the bowl of noodles I had during recess, but the peeps were having the same noodles as me. Man, I must be the unluckiest person in the world to get the only bad bowl then. Anyho, long gone.

Hi all, this was my Christmas.

Christmas this year was rather quite, no Christmas tree, no decorations, no jolly Christmas songs playing. I can't even remember anyone saying 'Merry Christmas' during the Christmas dinner on the 25th. Wow, the Christmas spirit has definitely decreased drastically as years pass.

Relatives came over for Christmas Potluck dinner on the 25th. Since PMR results were out just 2 days before Christmas, not a doubt I would get away without any questions being asked, am I right? Well, I just blabbed it out, 4A's (BM, Science, Maths, English), Science Stream *walks away. I mean c'mon so you/re son/daughter/father/mother/sister/brother did better, so what? I aimed and I got it, I'm happy. I'm not gonna stand there and take all your bull crap just to make me feel bad. & AS IF I didn't try my best! And I thought questions regarding my PMR results would sink my mood, turns out "You better exercise more ... (i don't even wanna continue)." =___________= The fact that he said it in an enclosed room was fine, why the hell must you blab your pie hole to the entire family, that's what I was pissed off at the most.

DIY Tanks

Hello readers,
If you follow me on twitter, today's known as DIY Day. Met up with Angie around noon and headed supply hunting for the DIY tanks and what not. Had lunch at PHOP cause Angie found out that they had quite an affordable set lunch. I had the Dory Fish accompanied by Fried Pancake stuffed with Mashed Potatoes & Salad

2 course meal + drink = RM13.80

Went to Popular to get the art supplies and even mange to pick up my 2011 planner. I go crazy for pretty planners and notebooks :x After that was a little walking around, then headed to Angie's place to get started. I had a Chanel logo and a Peace sign in mind, while Angie's had a Mustache and the Deathly Hallows sign.

Port Dickson Trip - Day Two & Day Three

Day 2 started of with buffet breakfast at the resort restaurant, after that it was just lazing in the room till night. I did my nails, read a magazine and watched streamed CSI: New York on the laptop. Horay, for free WiFi connection in the room. Walked around the resort in the evening and drove out for dinner.

Went to this restaurant for dinner. Food was good, but quite pricey. No mouth watering food pictures this time, taking pictures of the food totally slipped out of my mind when it arrived.

And yes, this was where I slept on the second night, MUCH more comfier than 3 in a bed. Slept like a log :) Since the resort doesn't provide extra blankets, I had to use bath robes and extra towels to keep myself warm that night, luckily the air conditioning wasn't that cold. I insisted not to sleep in the bed with mom and dad on the second night cause things were getting kind of awkward since that afternoon. I realize I always get the couch/floors/joint pillows whenever on family trip, for instance in Penang last year. But at least I had a place to sleep, I ain't complaining, just stating :)

By the private pool. It was all soaking feet, flipping water and walking up and down the steps for me. Dad joked saying I should swim right before we checked out and leave the next guest a lil' something something. HAHA!

The Beef Noodle store we ate at. Wasn't the best Beef Noodle in the world but it was maybe one of the most disappointing bowl I've tried. It's quite hard to find a satisfying bowl of Beef Noodle.

The noodle served wasn't Lai Fun and the taste of the soup was quite light to me. The ones deep in KL are still the best <3

Stopped by this popular bakery in Seremban, they're known for their kick ass Siew Paos.
Bought a couple of boxes of them as gifts for the relatives, and neighbours too for taking care of Rainbow and watering the plants while we were away. Sounds like a good line in a some "Jiran" essay, am I right?

That's about it i guess, now ... it's time to see what just got passed down to me.

Port Dickson Trip - Day One

Well, I'm back from the 3 day 2 night stay in Port Dickson. This trip was kind of unexpected and sort of a last minute thing. (i only found out on the 3rd!) I kept bugging my parents to bring us somewhere for the holidays, but we had to cope with Cherm's college schedule and Korkor's internship, hence we seized this long weekend for a short family trip to PD.

The drive seemed like it took forever! Even with the help of my Aunt's GPS, it didn't seem any easier to find this place. "Alternative Route" says GPS = "I DON'T KNOW LAA!!" BUT, with the mighty iPhone and its Google Maps, we eventually we found our way to the right restaurant, Hong Seng Seafood Restaurant at Tanjung Sepat just in time for lunch. Mom said it serves really good seafood. Well it better be!

All of the dishes were surprisingly very delicious! Maybe cause mom did her research in what to order there. HEE. After that we continued our journey to the hotel. We stayed in The Legend International Water Homes. Each Balinese inspired villa at The Legend Water Homes has it's own private pool and garden right in the room itself, sounds cool eh, having a pool just a few feet away? If I could have swim in this trip I would definitely be in the pool 24/7. But the sad thing is the water is always freezing cold! Okay rephrase, if the water was warm and if I could swim in this trip I would definitely be in the pool 24/7 :D

It was my brother Nick's 20th birthday last Thursday, so the family and I decided to take him to this fancy pantsy new French restaurant located at Solaris Dutamas called Millesime. We had a hard time locating the place since it was out very first time there, practically walked up-down-left-right about the building multiple times to finally find it right at the corner.

Wired Headbands

Wired Headbands, a very versatile piece of accessory. The good thing about this headbands is that their wired, obviously that's why it's called WIRED headbands. Anyways, it's good cause you can bend it into any shape and size you fancy. There are many different kinds of looks you can experiment on with the wired headband, for example the bunny ears/bow, the plain or the pimped out side ponytail.

I got mine a few weeks back but just thought I share with you guys the outcome of doing some of this looks with the wired headbands. Firstly, I got my pair of wired headbands from a blogshop called CuteClip, it's the cheapest place i found so far selling wired headbands, and the customer service there is great! Each of this wired headbands cost RM6 there, whereas places like Deeper And Harder sells them at like RM19, quality wise it's pretty much the same, so obviously you'll opt for a cheaper one right! I got myself a polka dotted one and a tie dye one, but if you dont fancy these designs as much as I do, dont worry, there are many other lovely designs available there at the store.

Here are some looks that can be done with the wired headband.

I'll be using these 2 wired headbands ;)

This is the plain look, it can also be done with a ribbon.

this is the bow / bunny ears

if you push the ends slightly upwards it's the bunny ears, downwards then it's the bow.

I prefer the bow compared to the bunny ears, cause i just find the bunny ears a bit too outrageous for me.

Here's how the side ponytail one looks like. Normally people just braid the wired headband through your hair, but I find it quite challenging, so i just criss-crossed the wired headband in an illusion of a braid.

Just thought I share my new creation with you :)

After making the Gameboy iPhone cover, cherms insist I make him one for his gate remote control. Hmm. For all the times he paid for my share of Mcdonalds and mango ice shavings(to die for) from 100yen, making one of these for him sounded good :)

After 2 hours of snipping and sewing, turned up this babe.

Cherms wants to be cool, hanging stuff around his neck.

But now he can walk around campus with this cute thing dangling there, while people ask

Learned how to make this video from ~~IGNite Camp~~ Justin. This is where Stop Motion comes in handy, haha! I know right the music! I googled cute music, and Plants VS. Zombie's song popped out. Used it anyho ;P

The video just made it a 100 times cuter XD

First creation of the Gameboy Range is complète! Quite happy with the end product ;)

It leans more towards an iPhone cover, cause the size snugs the iPhone perfectly. The felt helps protect it from scratches too. However, on other phones it might be a little loose but it still lives up to its purpose. The iPad helped out in sewing this little baby, ALOT ;)

Got the felt yesterday and as soon as I got home I started sewing and cutting. Worked on it till about 2 in the morning. It was giving me a massive headache, but I didn't want to stop cause I like finishing what I started at that day itself, I hope I'm not the only who's like that.

Spent the last 2 days straight in OU. That's what you get when you stay in this side of town during a school break. First day was spent shopping with the girls, Angie, Steph and Renie. Well, I haven't shopped this much in 1 go before, but they were good buys. Gotten 2 plain tees from Forever 21, Sneakers from Cotton On and a floral skirt from Kitschen. All the stuff I got were half priced except the Kitschen skirt, so much for a winning streak :\ Did you know that the plain tees are my first ever buy from Forever 21, and also the floral skirt from Kitschen? I rarely enter Forever 21 cause the one in OU is super messy and it's so hard to find clothes in a rack where they're way too many in it.

This was what I wore during the second day in OU, had a gathering with the IBMers. Watched The Other Guys, which was okay, but RED was better (;

Early this month, I received an email from Kotex saying that I was one of the selected bloggers to receive a product kit and sample of this exciting new 'product' just for the ladies that will be launched soon here in Malaysia. If it sparked my interest, I could tell my friends about it via my blog. The 'product' was kept at a hush hush cause she didn't want to spoil the surprise for me. All she said was it's a feminine care product, I seriously had to idea what it was gonna be. Clues left were only a picture of the "WOW" logo, and so happen I ran across the same "WOW" logo on a fashion blog based in the Philippines I think? To find out it was sanitary pads. HAH! Surprise fail.

IBM IGNite Camp 2010

Who knew camps were that much fun? Joining that camp made me feel somewhat smart and worthwhile, where at times in school/class I would feel like an idiot who isn't good enough for anyone. There were sometimes where I would feel like ripping my brain out and there were also times where I could laugh till my ass hits the ground. What a fun ride to remember indeed!

DAY 1
The first day of the camp was the most relaxed day throughout this 5day camp. But the day started out pretty rough for us being late most of it was caused by me JOTHI. Who demanded me to sweep the library floors squeaky clean before I could leave. Indirect lecturing was carried out by the bus guy all the way to the IBM Plaza, towards me I suppose ._. After signing in and being divided into our respective groups, SMKBUD4's were then assigned a tour around the 19th floor of the IBM Plaza. Had fun wandering round the conference rooms, "money making machine" area and also our fan favorite Rama's room, where Shirlyn might have left her number & also saying call me babe! We also had our very own ID tags made that day, where of course Shirlyn did her thang. The rest of the day was filled with talks, mini games, project explanation, talks and more talks.

DAY 2

Second day was wear blue-black shirt day, the day started of pretty good as no one was late. In fact we were so early that we had time for chor dai di, blackjack and bullshit before the volunteers arrived. After that we went to our games group to see what was the next challenge. We were asked to remix a song and choreograph a dance involving the camp and also Smarter Planet, where we would perform it the next day. *DIES* After an hour of discussion we were back to our engineering group to finally kick start our project titled "Smarter Traffic" where each group has to come up with a brand new way to solve the traffic congestions in KL. Not only we had to think of a brand new idea, we also had to create a model, slide show, video/interview and present it on the final day of camp. My group Traffic Techies, lead by seewenchie. The rest of the day was occupied with bright ideas, ThinkPads and a boxing ring by the end of the day. Almost forgot, FOOD! Don't get me started on the food. We would have breakfast at 9am, lunch at 1pm and tea at 4.30pm. Lunch was always the highlight of the day for everyone, free flow of raw salmon, tempting deserts, freshly cooked pasta right in front of your face. Yummy to the tummy!

DAY3

Casual day. Early as usual lah. Everyone was extremely nervous especially my game group LV, cause we were performing first. And we haven't completed the choreography for our song Dynamite. Of all days Celeste decides to come late, so boohoo no pro dancer to guide us. But we all kept our shits together and came up with the choreography on our own. Fingers crossed, it was time for us to perform. Everything went well, we were all quite satisfied of ourselves eventhough a timeline that short was given. Other groups performance and song lyrics were hysterical, in a good way! Now, whenever I hear Break Your Heart, I'll think of Amir and Emir's pumping.

After the performance, we thought of having some fun so we had a game of Charades. Oh man, I'm so pro at Charades, HAHA! But the funniest was Carine, she had to act out Sex In The City, it was hilarious! Click to watch 3:36. After that it was back to work ._.

DAY4

White shirt day or known as field trip day! As each day came, the bus arrives earlier and earlier. We were so early that the whole bus had to camp outside our school for about an hour, cause the folks at IBM weren't ready to be picked up yet. The other campers in the bus were dead bored so they decided to have a bite in our school. Next stop was the Science Center. We were split into three groups where each group had to complete the questions given, where answers could be found about the whole science center. My group was pretty quick with the questions so we had extra time to fiddle around with the stuff. Next was the Planetarium. Since we had no buffet lunch that day, we were given packed, cold spaghetti to eat at the stairs without air-cond. After that we even had to climb all the way up numerous flights of stairs to get to the Planetarium. It was hard for all of us being the spoilt kids we are by IBM, pampered to the max!

DAY5

Presentation Day, JENGJENGJENG. Eight of us came to school looking oh-so-smart and all prepared to wow everyone with our bright ideas and models. The day started of with everyone putting the final touches to their project. And then the time came which everyone dreaded, it was our last meal at the buffet. Most of us skipped breakfast for extra space in the belly for lunch. Boy, it was worth it. Everyone ate to the fullest. QUOTE "START WITH SALMON, END WITH SALMON!" HOORAH! After lunch it was presentation time, the whole room transformed when we came back, rows and rows of chairs were arranged for the audience. And soon after that, it was time for my group to present. Whichever group I'm in, we always go first :\ I could say we did alright, but we could've done better on the slides. Messed up the slides cause they were too many effects which were all on clicks causing it to be very hard to determine how many points were there in one slide. It didn't surprise me that the other groups did well. Their ideas were unique and easy to understand and the slides were kept simple but packed with sufficient information. In our case, my group's idea was quite mind challenging, but we did try our best explaining it through the video and interview. It was also my first time doing a stop motion clip, it was actually quite simple with a little help from Justin.

After each group had their turn. It was time for the closing ceremony, huuhuuu :( Prizes were given to respective winners. Categories were, Highest Scoring Game Group, Best Engineering Team, Best Presenter and Best Camper. One of the category which our very own Adrian won was the Best Presenter Award, he was so looking forward to his free iPod cause last year's winners received iPods. Well, spend them TGIF vouchers wisely.

But these addictions are pretty hard to let loose off, a ghost keychain and a white Cupido in the FIRST 2 DAYS!

The shoe's material was actually to thick for the pin to fit, there goes my smooth plan. I want it to be removable and attachable back again. Any other suggestions on what to use? Mom said HOT GLUE GUN, but then it wouldn't be removable anymore. We'll see, maybe I'll change my mind about the removable part :)

Fringe boots or whatever you call it arrived today. Color turned out darker than expected, but its okay anyways. Was juggling between the choice of taking black or light brown, and i got a middle shade. How good is god. After numerous of constipated faced-legs-doing a hurdle-out of frame jumpshots, FINALLY got a decent shot.

Hello! Just a quick update cause I have lots of homework to rush, from missing classes for 2 whole weeks. Anyways, so I can say that Cheer '10 has finally come and gone in a flash. The 2 day cheerleading competition we cheerleaders have been training our butts of for that mere 2 and a half minutes on the blue mat.

For a bunch of newcomers I think we pretty much did our best out there (11 new comers out of 16 yo!), and look where it got us to! But you can't deny it, Cyrens really deserved winning the title this year, they totally blew everyone away with their spectacular tumbling skills and flawless routine though out both days. :)

I just want to give a big thank you to Coach, the parents, the supporters, and of course all of my sexy ladiess (inside joke)! Wouldn't have achieve such placing without the support of you guys.

2. Blitzerz 254.0 + 263.0 = 517.0

3. Dynamitez 266.5 + 250.5 = 517.0

Canon IXUS 300HS

As you've already know, I've been camera-less for about a month now. And finally I gotten a new one already, before cheer. YES!

Op, sexy lah my new Canon IXUS 300HS. I got the black one. So far, it's been functioning GREAT. More than I could ask for actually. This camera is still quite new in the market, even I had a tough time looking for pictures of it that I had rip it of the Canon site. I chose the charcoal black one because the red and white one had a sort of plasticky glossy look which doesn't look that nice in my opinion. However, the charcoal black one has a sandy matte professional feel to it :)

Things I love about this camera:
1) Captures great photos even in low light
2) Super slow motion playbacks (for my toe touches :P)
3) Aperture and shutter control <3
4) Lots of effects such as Fish Eye & Miniature

Things I dislike about this camera:
1) Can't stand vertically (the picture above is a LIEE )

Tiffany Blue. As you know I've been hunting for the perfect Tiffany Blue nail polish since I saw it on the tips of TheBlondeSalad. But to find out it's freaking Chanel -_-"

Anyho, I went to Chanel @ OneUtama to check if they actually had the nail polish in this side of the world, and they did! But it's freaking Chanel, it would probably cost a bomb -_-" So, I asked the saleslady how much was it, and it was RM70 for a bottle. God knows how many bottles of nail polish I could buy from Elianto with that kinda money, GEEZ.

So, I started googling for alternatives for the perfect Tiffany Blue color. There are quite a number of it actually, mostly at a cheaper price too!

Students Appreciation Night

From the failed responds from my previous-previous post.

OKAY, it's official that now no one reads my blog anymore.

Probably an embarrassing picture of myself will get the traffic going, keep waiting :P

So, students appreciation night was held last Saturday at KLGCC. More like self-appreciation night says Dad. EXACTLY my point. But, for the sake of getting dressed up and hanging out with some friends, why not? ZJ offered to fetch Regine and I there, so we headed to her place at around 4 to get ready. The car ride in ZJ's brother's car was the most hatred part of all! Talk about youngsters driving, okay I sound really old. But the worst part was his comments, like seriously? Anger was pilling up inside of me, but ...

I held it in since, if I would have told him off it wouldn't be nice cause he was doing me a favor by sending me there. SO! I said thank you as politely as possible and thank god I got out safely from that death ride. I'm very very very thankful that my brothers don't drive like that, wee happy face :D

We got there an hour and a half early from the others, cause ZJ had to help with the preparations and all. So, Regine and I pretty much stoned through that hour and a half. A 1story high building isn't much to explore is it. Spent time, taking pictures of our reflection, going up and down the lifts like 6 times that night? Yea, pretty much it.

Till 7:30 the doors were finally open, I was starving by then. The night wasn't as impressive as I would have imagined it to be, but it's all for charity :) Left quite disappointed, maybe the wrong crowd I guess :\ (who's the right crowd then I often ask myself) In fact I was quite worried for the next day cause I had a 7KM run, and I had to wake up super early for that.Got home at around 12+. Barely had juice to remove my make up, but eventually did, then straight to the sack it was!

It sucks not having a camera in hand for special events :(

It missed C3, my BIRTHDAY dinner, surprise party, THIS and my run :(

It's not confiscated or anything, but it had to be sent back to Canon for service caused by my clumsiness. FOR THE SECOND TIME ALREADY. And this time its worst than a few knocked out pixels, I accidentally kicked the tripod and the whole thing came collapsing down, I went collapsing down with it too to break the fall of the camera on top, but it still managed to hit the ground, slightly. Causing the lens to be stuck and now it's not retracting back ):

Hey there world, sorry for the MIA without notice.
I wouldn't say that I'm back yet but I hope I find the time to start blogging more often again.
Cheer practice on Friday was pretty fun, cause we did ...

this :D

Few of the girls went for the launch of CHEER '10 and brought us back some goodies, and of course those balloons too. It was fun till it lasted, cause after practice was straight to basketball practice, oh the joy of suicide runs.

Gerard told us to continue running suicides until he said "Stop", so all of us did as told.

While injured YeeWen holds his eyephone timing us. I couldn't tell how long we were running, but I felt like my legs were about to fall off anytime, cause I was already dead tired coming from cheer practice to this.

Finally he yelled stop and let us have a sip. To find out that, we've been running suicides for 30 minutes straight. HOMY, I was instantly lighted up after hearing that. "Great achievement" i said to myself. Happy happy joy joy! :D

Fujifilm Instax Mini 7s

I've always been a big fan of Poloroid pictures. I find them very cute and well 'useful' :)

I've been bumping into this cam for quite sometime already, I know I want one but I just never had the initiative to get one.

But after spending my morning reading reviews on the web and YouTube, it's time >)

The Fujifilm Instax Mini 7s comes in many different colors *picture above*.

It's so weird how the blue, pink and chocolate, white has a RM40 price difference. Dayem.

The films are abit pricey too, RM30 for 10 pieces, ohmy.

There's also a Hello Kitty version of it but it's not the Mini 7s version.

However, I could always get the white one and pimp it up myself, rite rite? :P

We'll see....

I haven't actually made up my mind on this yet, considering the price of the cam and also the films.

Hmmm, any suggestions?

Alright, off to basketball practice now.

Finally made up my mind to get the Fujifilm Instax Mini 25 in full WHITE, instead of the 7S.

Mini 25 is the newer version of the 7s, it's features include a mirror on the end of the lens for doing self-portraits PERFECT!, dual shutter releases for vertical and horizontal orientation, detachable close-up lens that snaps on to the end of the lens and also the lens extends out automatically whereas the 7S is a pull-out lens. :)

I told'cha I didn't lie, my schedule for March has been hectic.

But first I would like the congratulate the team for winning the friendly match against DU yesterday. Even though it's the school holiday, each and everyone of you manage to drag your asses to school for practice held every morning. I really appreciate it :) After this week's grueling practice, I really think we'd improved a whole lot! Look from when we first started. *laughs* All the strugles, all the shouting, screaming, frustrations. GAH!

Did we improve? :)

But we couldn't have done it without the help of Coach, Estima, Sean & Gavin ;)

However we shouldn't start celebrating too soon.

MSSD is next Monday, the big game, the match we have all been waiting for, training for.

Will be up against Tropicana for our first match, I don't wanna hear it yen. Please, not now.

Tribute To Alexander Mcqueen Fashion Show.

So as you know a tiny fashion show was held this last night, to honor the death of this well known fashion designer, Alexander Mcqueen. He will always be remembered for his unconventional and dramatic designs.

And no I did not go alone that night, I had a date :)
And who wouldn't guess, it's Angie, teehee! So she came by my house at around 6:30pm, I told her to bring all the floral tops she had over since I hadn't settled what I was gonna wear, and she did. But in the end, I wore my instead. With that settled, we got all glammed up, and headed downstairs for a rushed dinner. Time was short, since we I took a hell lot of time deciding which floral top to choose. So after eating, we put on our heels and out the door we went. Did I mention it was my first time rocking my Topshop Ashish Inspired Boots? Oh yea, the night's gonna be awesome.

The show was gonna start at 8pm, and we only manage to leave the house around 7:50pm, talking about being fashionably late! We reached Laila's Cafe around 20 minutes later, I expected a really big crowd overflowing the place but all I saw was a table of maybe 5 people outside, 2-3 couples inside, 1 loner outside, and US, Ohman. We wanted to sit inside, but all of the tables stated "RESERVED". So we had no choice but to sit outside. With a blazer on in the weather of Malaysia, you sure ought to break a sweat. We got curious and wondered "Why so few people wan? Are we in the right place?" So we asked the waiter when was the fashion show gonna start. Waiter replies:" 9:30pm la miss."

Dayem boy! And we thought we were late. So an hour flies by and still none showed up. Since it was passed the time limit for one who'd reserved the tables, we got invited in to sit! :D Then, the fashion show started not to long after that. The night went on with 2 local fashion designers showcasing their beautiful pieces, and of course modeled by local models too.

Through the night, we got interviewed by Msn Life & Style, Lydia Kwan. She asked a few questions about where we got our clothes from and what do we miss most about Alexander Mcqueen. She even took a couple of styleshots of us.

The night ended pretty fast, didn't stay for the discussion since time was short, and we had to get home early. Rainbow is cute, bye! what a way to end this post.

Hello! Today has definitely got to be the most carefree day and most probably the last I'll ever have only till after March, and March hasn't even started yet. Pft. I have a whole lot lined ahead of me for the month of March.

First week of March - Saringan from Monday-Wednesday & Sports Day on Friday. All in a week!

Second week of March - First Term Examination from Tuesday-Friday.

Third week of March - First Term Break Starts from 13th -21st. Will be filled with Basketball Practices almost everyday.

Fourth week of March - MSSD Basketball Tournament.

MAN!

Without wasting a mere second of my most carefree day, came back from school, took lunch upstairs, turned on the tv, watched the recorded 90210, American Idol & Glee! Ah... Life :)

After that, I then proceed to complete my "wall project". Nick helped me develop the pictures yesterday, got them last night. Was quite bummed cause the quality of the pictures weren't that great :\ Dad said it was a waste of money for printing such lausy(?) quality pictures -.-" I only sent a few pictures for printing cause I couldn't decide/can't find any other nice pictures.

Wooden pegs were needed for this project here. I specifically remember mom giving me some colorful animal wooden pegs for a Christmas way back. I remember using it to hang my wet handkerchiefs out my window last year. But I couldn't find it. Search high and low, and finally found them in the most unusual place.

That always happens when you're finding for something you really need.

It just arrived not too long ago, I couldn't resist it pretty floral prints, I just had to use it as a backdrop.

It was suppose to be only 5 pictures, but I found the 6th one and it was so adorable.
So I couldn't help, its me and mummy during my kindergarden sports day! Medaalll! >)

Although I prefer using plain wooden pegs but I didn't have any so I improvised :)

This album is impressive. Nuff said. My personal favorite would have to be 100 Suns which is the bit ending of the This Is War track and Hurricane featuring Kanye West. From Jared Leto's hushed voice to his piercing voice, it goes on and on from strength to strength. Magnificent.

I am dead tired!

Yes, I had to get that out :) Had basketball practice this morning, Literally torture, I have totally no idea why I get so tired easily after cheer/basketball practice during this 1 week holiday. Oh man, must be all the good food I had before :\ I was kinda disappointed with today's attendance though, I just loathe it when people do not inform me before hand, coach was disappointed too :\

After practice, walked to Ikano to meet up with Angie, had girls day out. Met up with her at Starbucks in Ikano, then headed Curve, then Ikea, back to Curve, then Ikano again, and at last Gloria Jeans Curve for some free internet :) Not to forget some "da pao-ed" chicken wings from Ikea.

My walls are pretty empty right now as you can see, so I thought of spicing it up a little bit. I wanted to do a collage, but then I saw this great idea of hanging them up neatly using strings while looking through Weardrobe. What would you think would go best with lavender colored walls? :)
