Details In The Fabric: Hard Rock Hotel, Penang

As some of you may already know, I went on a trip to Penang last Friday and just got home on Monday.We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel there in Penang. It was a grueling 5 hour road trip from KL to Penang, We manage to stop by Ipoh for lunch at a famous coffee shop called "Nam Heong(?)". And after that was back in the car.

We had a rough time finding the hotel cause it was located quite far away from the city, lucky we had mom's iPhone to lead the way :D So finally after the long hours in the car (my bladder was also about to explode), we finally reached the hotel. First thing I did was ran to the toilet :D Since our rooms weren't ready yet, they served us yummy frizzy soury welcome drinks :D

The days passed pretty quickly while were there, since we were having such a blast, eating till the beak'f dawn >) LOL. We spent most our time by the pool, swimming and eating. Didn't bother much about the beach cause it was too scary, who would wanna swim in such murky water, the waves were quite rough too. Plus the sun was scorching hot, didn't wanna get all burnt up do we :)

It was the second day there in Penang, I started to wonder "Eh? Where's the Asam Laksa? and Char Kuey Tiew?". That night we headed down to Gurney drive for a 'feast' :D Bowl after bowl of Asam Laksa, plate after plate of Char Kuey Tiew, and who wouldn't forget SI HAM! (omgggg x_x)

Did I mention it's so hard getting around Penang? There's so much traffic, and the drivers aren't making it any easier. If you think PJ traffic is terrible, try going around the city in Penang. Penang drivers have no courtesy, it took us forever just to cross a stupid junction cause no one would give way, in the end guess what? a KL plate stopped instead. HOORAH KL.

The night of our third day there, we went for a walk down the pasar malam. Nick bought a pair of aviators while I bought myself a pair of brand new wayferers, in a sexy shade of Deep Red, for RM10 only! It can't get any lower than that my friends. Oleh sebab itu, i'm selling my white ones @ myshoppingneeds

Very fast the 4 day 3 night stay there ended, it was time to check out of ze hotel and head home.

Room 330 and 331.

The room had really nice deco, pictures of The Beatles were hanged everywhere throughout the hotel.

Nice bed rite? But obviously I didn't sleep there...

... I slept here! They ran out of extra beds here, due to the full house.
Cushions weren't helping at all! So I just decided to sleep on the carpeted floor, much comfier :D
