Digi Pimp My Day Challenge ...

Hello! This is technically the first post of 2010 i might say. So here it goes...

So many great thing had already happened already since 2009 ended.

There was, first day of school in a new class, Digi Pimp My Day Challenge, and loads more.

But there's ofcourse the more =_= kind of things. Like maybe my Wednesdays? Pft.

Okay, lets turn to a more positive page shall we.... NEW CLASS!

Daisi. There's nothing much I can say about this crazy class besides having most of my close friends here with me. I'm quite satisfied with the teachers we gotten this year.

DIGI PIMP MY DAY CHALLENGE @ One Utama.

It all started with a very last minute call from Regine saying: "NIC! FASTER! YOUR TEAM GOT SELECTED FOR THE DIGI PIMP MY DAY, DIGI JUST CALLED JINWEI FASTER!" when I just poured myself a cup of coke and opened a pack of Chips :|  My reaction was are you kidding me, why so last minute wan?! So yeah then I made some calls here and there and left the house 30 seconds after that :)

Met up with the rest of my team which includes Jin Wei, Weyyen, Wenqi and myself at Mardi Gras One Utama. The race was suppose to start at 2:30pm, but by the time they called, we all manage to only reach there at 4pm. Since were already so left behind from the rest of the teams, we decided to just play for the sake of fun.

Without wasting anytime, we decided to tackle the first task which was located right at Mardi Gras itself. It was called "So You Thing You Can Dance?" And yes, it required us to dance with the theme "ATHLETIC". Since 'most' of us know basic cheerleading, hence we girls decided to use a dance while Jin claims he was dancing around like a hooligan. Poles were provided and we had to use them in the routine, so yea that was a first for me XD

Next stop was the Swatch Shop. We bumped into the [insert group name] over there too. This particular task required us to record a commercial which involves DIGI BROADBAND & SWATCH, after recording it upload it into your Facebook Account. After helluva brainstorming, we then decided to change up the lyrics of the Digi Song "I Will Follow You".

It goes like this...

I will follow Swatch,

& also Digi too!

Swatch provides accurate time,

& Digi provides broadband.

Digi Pimp My Day........

I kinda forgotten the lyrics when we were recording, but now it seems to be stuck in my head and I CAN'T SHAKE IT OFF, DAMN! XD We were only allowed to record once, so this is what we got.

RETARDED. OMG

After recording it, we dashed off to the next task which was located at Quicksilver and in one hand was a laptop trying it's best to upload the video on to Facebook. Moving on, the task at Quicksilver was rather quick but fun, we were required to grab any clothes of liking from the basket, put it on, and strike a pose in 30 seconds.

After that we then made our way to Celebrity Fitness for our next task. Oh man, knowing that's Celebrity Fitness, it's sure gotta do with running. We are required to run a distance of 800m. But it's okay, thread mils are my best friend :)

We were short on time, so we decided to do 1 last task which was located at the Digi shop. We were required to go to www.digimusic.com.my to search for 1 Lady G & 1 Akon song in the shortest amount of time. Well, I didn't really get the purpose of this task tho, whatever. Without wasting another second, we dashed back to Margi Gras, and to find out we had a final task, the one that holds the "BIG MONEH". The final task required us to blog about our experience today in the most creative way and post it up in any team member's blog. Without further or do, we opened up ze laptop and find out that it DIED.

A couple of us went around giving cute puppy faces to random Nuffnangers hoping they would lend us their laptop/charger. But plan failed, they were all in for the molah. But soon enough, Digi prepared 2 extra laptops for us to use. Hallelujah! Weyyen decided to tackle this task, knowing her and her ability, WHAT CAN'T SHE POSSIBLY HANDLE? :) View the post right here.

While Weyyen types her fingers away, Wenqi and I decided to line up to grab food for all of us. Oh yeah, they served good food too, FOC AH! The night went along with some great performances and followed by prize giving. And I thought my group wouldn't win anything..

but turns out I was wrong &

We actually won RM300 worth of Swatch Vouchers for the

 Commercial for DIGI BROADBAND & SWATCH.

It was a great night, all of us had fun. And I would like to thank Digi & Nuffnang for organizing this funfilled event. And not to mention, Jin Wei too, for letting me be a part of your team :)
